Sheepwash / Shipwash memorial brass

This photo shows the ” curious brasses of the Sheepwash family” which are to be found on the wall of Hambleden Church in Buckinghamshire. It was taken about 10 years ago when I first started work on the family tree.

I love the shields with the sheep on the water!   So far I’ve found no link to this Sheepwash /  Shipwash family and haven’t found out anything about them – another piece of research for the future!

About familyhistoryfootsteps

I'm enjoying early retirement! I have been researching my ancestry for several years and am interested in all aspects of family history especially local and social history.
